The Quality of Life Animal Sanctuary is a Charity that was incorporated by an Act of The Royal Court of Jersey on 15th September 1995 and was set up to provide a safe and loving home to elderly, unwanted and ill animals.
The Sanctuary is run by two people who care and look after approx 300 animals. The main warehouse is managed by Jason. There are 6 other people who all work on a voluntary basis.
We take in and care for all types of animals from mice, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs to cats, dogs birds and farm animals right upto horses. We home our dogs directly to their new owners whenever possible.
All of the animals in our care are treated and live as part of our family and their quality of life os of the utmost importance. All our carers are dedicated people. None of our animals are put to sleep unless they are suffering and no longer have quality of life.
We have over 500 animals in our care, we also home younger animals when possible.
Please remember, the sanctuary relies on your support and your donations, however large or small they are gratefully recieved! Every penny we raise goes towards helping an unwanted or sick animal to have a better quality of life.
